Steve and Sarah Pennell live in Jupiter, Florida.  They have two adult children.                       

Both Steve and Sarah were raised in very traditional Christian homes.  Steve's father was a minister with a small mission-minded denomination, the Missionary Church, Inc.  

Steve and Sarah graduated from Warner Southern College in Lake Wales, Florida with education degrees, and then spent three years as Short Term Assistants with Wycliffe Bible Translators.  Next, Steve spent three years as the Director of Christian Education at a large church in central Florida before being ordained as the pastor of a Christian and Missionary Alliance church in Jupiter, Florida.

Steve served as pastor of that church for eleven years.  He is now on loan from the Christian and Missionary Alliance to By His Stripes Ministries.
